hi mommies, I want to ask how can I improve my HB level. my recent tests have shown low level of HB, RBC, WBC. kindly suggest some remedies.

Hi Mrs Ammad, You could add following fruits and veggies to your diet after consulting your doc to increase HB. also increase vitamin C intake by adding oranges, strawberry etc. Beans. Dark green leafy vegetables, such as spinach, beetroots . Dried fruit, such as raisins and apricots. Iron-fortified cereals, Peas,broccoli. I am not very sure on WBC.

Mrs Ammad !you could take iron rich diet such as green leafy vegetables ,spinach ,chulai, vegetable soups, chana, egg, beetroot ,pomegranate, non veg,etc Also try and take immunity boosting foods such as orange ,guava etc. Cook yr food in iron vessel. Also take supplements suggested by your doctor.

Mrs Ammad to improve the HB level in your blood you must have an iron rich diet and this iron must be e accompanied with Folic acid tablets iron containing or iron rich food items are all green leafy vegetables like spinach and in fruits you can have Pomegranate Apple and Amla... Folic acid tablets must ba taken only consult ing your doctor and include some supplementary iron tablets too but you can take these only after prescribing it from the doctor. Basically Folic acid tablets are taken for absorbing iron in a better way but you must ask the doctor before consuming them

Helo Mrs Ammad during pregnancy its normal that the hb getting reduced. I too faced this problem. But rbc and wbc you have to go with doctors advice. To increase hb you have to take the vitamins tablets as suggested by the doctor. Then have drumstick leaves fry and soup which helped me to increase hb during pregnancy. Drumstick is rich in iron. Have dates, figs daily and four soaked badams. Have beetroot juice adding few coriander and mint leaves. After having vitamin tablet dont drink milk or calcium rich foods as it restrict the iron absorption in the body. Eat lot of greeny vegetables and fruits. Try to avoid fresh juices instead you can take fruits as whole. Happy pregnancy
