And What are you eating to your baby right now? Some children bother a lot about eating food, in such a situation we have to work a little hard with the children. By doing this, children learn to eat food by watching. You should eat food with baby. talk with them while eating or give some favorite toys. by doing this your baby will be interested in eating food. Put some toys to keep him busy, or tell his favorite story too. By trying these tricks, the baby will eating properlyin some time. I teach my baby to feed like this and my baby has now started eating food on his own.

Choti Rani i understand your concern but don't worry as she is active and free from any ailment but I would like to suggest you to visit a pediatrician once. To make her eat a variety of foods, make her to eat with the rest of the family. Children tend to follow their parents eating habits. Try and serve at least one of her favourite food and serve other foods along with it. It takes 10-15 tries before the child accepts the new food Few suggestions for the nutritional needs are If she is taking only parantha, add vegetables & boiled dal to it. Change the colour of vegetable & dal in every meal and name it as green parantha, orange parantha or any fancy name she likes. Or else ask her to give a new name. Rice again can be cooked in the soup of vegetables & dal and served . Try combining mango with milk and give mango shake. Give 2-3 servings of fruits atleast daily. If she is not taking milk, curd, give cheese, paneer, soymilk . give her healthy milk based desserts like nuts,, dried fruits in a form which she likes to have.

Choti Rani this age is such that they are experimenting and learning a lot of things such as- 1. To say 'No' 2. Push the boundaries 3. Manipulate adults. 4. React to ur action. We have to be very careful as habits now formed will become part of their personality later on. What we can do so that they form good habits- 1. Avoid forceful feeding. 2. occassionally give her 2 choices of food to pick from for instance on the weekends . 3. avoid special cooking of meals on the rest of the days. 4. Serve her at least one meal of the day along with family members on the dining table. 5. Praise and reward what you want to see and reinforce .ignore whichever habit you want her to give up. 6. Avoid scolding for not eating food as she will get averse to it. Instead try to make mealtime happy time. 7. Model behaviour which you want her to imitate. 8. last but not the least be firm with rules. So that child is aware of the few domains wherein she has abide by the rules. Hope this will help.
