U have this home made porridge recipe in youtube. u can ingredients as per baby's age. dry fruits are to be given only after 9 months. After 6 months 1st porridge includes minimal ingredients like plain rice, Toor Dal, moons dal. 1st wash 1:2 cup ratio of toor dal and rice. let them dry under fan or sun. Then dry roast them along with 2 spoons of moong dal, 1 spoon cumin,1 spoon ajwain. Then make it into a fine powder using sieve. Finally, add req. amount of powder ( 1st add 2 spoons initially) with luke warm water and stir well .Add this mixture to boiling water in sauce pan or any utensil. Stir while the mixture thickens. Add little amount of ghee, pinch of salt and sugar as per taste. Serve warm. Gradually u can add dry fruits , barley as the baby grows.
