how can I make my 2. 5 year old son to eat healthy food at home? details are below

My son is 2. 5 yrs. How can we make him eat vegetables, roti ,salads, fruits at home. He usually eats khichdi , snacks, mangoes , biscuits,dhosa, roti, butter, butter milk,cheez. And one more thing,we generally eat not so much spicy,yet when ever I try to make him eat what we have,he says that "daddy it's spicy". How can I over come this?

Hello Hiral, you can 1)mix smashed boiled vegetables in his rice during lunch time. 2) while making dosa.. add little bit finely chopped carrots, spinach and beetroot into the batter. 3) give your child a mixed fruits chaat of bananas,apples, chikoo and whatever he likes in the evening. Serve it in a nice bowl. 4) chop cucumbers,onions and carrots.. add little bit lime juice and a pinch of black salt... and give after his lunch. You also take something with you.. children like to see their parents eating the same dishes. 5) soak roti in the milk and smash it nicely... then feed your child with a nice spoon... during this time you can tell your child some good stories that have an episode on eating food. 6) prepare fruits custard for him.. he will definitely like it. Please consult a doctor ..sometimes children feel discomfort in their tongue while eating due to some vitamin deficiency.
