Hi Smita, As your pediatrician said, adenoid disappears over a period of time. Homeopathy seems to be effective in treating enlarged adenoid. In case if she doesn't respond to the medicines and if she gets very frequent infection, ear pain and very frequent allergy symptoms, you may want to consult another doctor and if s/he also suggests surgery, you can go for it. Some kids respond very well to homeopathy medicines and they get well within a year or 2. But some even take till their teen years to get completely cured. so try homeopathy medicine for at least a year and also give a table spoon of black pepper and tulsi mixed with honey every morning after brushing to keep cold and other infections at bay.

Hi sameta, my son is 9 years old. And he has been a mouth breather ever since he was born. I waited for 7 years, giving all kinds of medicines for treating his adenoids... but in vain. Finally we got him operated. And by God's grace.. he is growing into a perfectly normal healthy child.
