hi Tejal Soni! I appreciate your thoughts! a friend is someone who would understand us more than anyone else, who would be by our side no matter what, and who would not judge us . try and get these traits in your behavior. trust your child, respect him and praise his strengths, give a patient ear to him, avoid judging him and work on his not so strong points without criticizing him . try and listen to the unspoken words and analyze why he did that behind his behavior. it's a very crucial stage and many changes take place in the child including emotional, cognitive social as well as physical. try and help him go through these transitions smoothly. be there for him as a mentor, a guide, a counsellor and a friend. I am sure if u would move one step towards him with these traits , he would love to be your friend. hope this helps!!

To become friend with your son you have to spend more time with him you should take him outing like park, rides and amusement park and you have to play with him like boy. Take him to restaurants and buy and give what he like. I'm having two sons both are very friendly to my hubby...

to befriend your child, you should become a child of his /her age. You should speak in their. language. don't use an adult language to them. play the games that they can play
