Hi Mee suvvi! How r u ? Arguments / fights between siblings is not uncommon and is healthy to an extent. But when it crosses a line where one of the siblings always gets beaten up or hurt in the end, it could be dangerous. This weaker sibling is imitating the stronger one and also aggression is building up inside him/her for having to taste the defeat every time. This aggression might come out in front of other weaker age mates. It is advisable to teach your calmer child maintain further calm by hugging the stronger twin and making him calm down. So in away u r utilizing the weakness as a strength. Since the stronger one would be difficult to control and shouting or hitting him would further make things worse. Never scold one for another or taking sides or praising one as this would further widen the gap . Divert the attention, when they are about to fight with loud music, television or calling one of them inside. Me Suuvi u will have to work on your boy with lot of patience and love and being FIRM and saying 'NO' every time he beats or bites. Talk to him when he is calm and alone. Also organize activities recognizing their strengths where they have to work together, defining roles clearly. appreciate both of them when they are good to each other. Hope this helps!
