How to inculcate interest in studies

Hi my nephew is 10 yrs old ,and he shows little inrest in his studies. He loves playing with friends all the time. What should i do so that he enjoys studies and follows his routine.

hi Vineeta! children get used to listening to their parents and their commands fall on deaf ears . it's advisbale to make him speak to a responsible adult at home or in extended family who could explain to him the importance of studies. also help him plan his schedule, in which there is time allocated for studies, rest, recreation, homework etc.. u could politely give reminders when it's time to switch over. also praise whim when he follows..
