how to learn talk to my 1year 7month old son

hello all... my son is 1year 7month old ..he is not talking any simple word like mama ,Dada,or nothing talk anything ... I tried to talk with him all time, I play cartoon , rhythm on TV for him bt doesn't talk... only he say bye bye... only " bye " word he talk... how I encourage to talk him
