hi kawaljit Kaur! please ensure he is holding the pencil correctly. otherwise due to incorrect positioning of pencil between fingers, they might hurt and he would dread writing. make sure he uses tripod grip to hold a pencil. there are many videos on YouTube on how to correctly hold a pencil. also make him do excercises which involve fine motor skills. such as tearing of paper into smaller pieces, transferring beads from one bowl to another using a tweezer, transferring water with a spoon from one bowl to another, stacking of blocks. sticking grains along a line, stringing beads etc. please go through this blog. hope you will find the suggested tips handy. Hey! I find this Parenting blog really interesting. I suggest you have a look too: https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/how-to-improve-your-childs-handwriting/2324?ptref=sa0l000030g01sk

Hi Kawaljit I notice that the child is just 3 years of age and at this time we need to give the child's loads of activities including both gross and fine motor skills, fine motor are especially given to get them ready for writing. You would have noticed while coloring the child colours up outside the page and his big movements, that's because his minute motor muscles are not yet developed and he's using his arm muscles. I would suggest you get the child involved in some sport or the other, scating or athletics is a good option and will help build patience, disciple and balance in the child.
