Hi mum's, As the weather is cool and the room is also cool these days, Is it ok to warm the expressed breast milk when in feeding bottle, if kept for more than 1hour. If yes, how to warm it up? Can we keep the bottle with expressed milk in it in the sterilizar for a minute or two?

neha ! I appreciate your concern about breastfeeding . Firstly you asked whether to warm expressed breast milk. My reply would be no. I Understand your worry, but by warming breast milk the vital healthy components are destroyed, like vitamin A, B... and milk cuddles. Instead of warming you can follow olden way. This was told by grand ma. You just keep bottle filled with breast milk under 6-7 layers of blanket for an hour. By doing so temperature of milk will be changed. Agree that change will not be drastic but better then room temperature. No, don't put bottle with expressed milk in a sterilizar.
