How to Teach my kid his subjects interesting

Hi All !!! My Son is doing his 1st std with CBSE Syb..... He was always not interested in studying.... am trying some method by making some chart to make his subject interesting but its not enough. Sometimes he forgets what he learn n score bad marks in examz..... Hope he was not a listening kid in the class..... I want him to study his subjects interesting .....How can i do this.... Suggest me some methods / idea ..... Now he got Question blanks too
