in addition to what puloma pandey has mentioned, this could also be due to nipple confusion.. children get confused and so their milk intake would reduce or they stop drinking milk at all. with formula milk ur supply would decrease and finally baby would avoid taking ur feed completely as bottle feed is easy to suck . it's advisable to continue with yr breastfeed , the more the demand better would be the supply .. here is a blog which u might find useful!Hey! I find this parent blog really interesting. I suggest you have a look too: https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/9-tips-to-increase-breast-milk-supply-in-lactating-moms/812?ptref=sa0l000030g00mk

Hi Prativa, as your baby is only 4 month only breastmilk or formula is suggested. Dont worry let him drink when he is asleep, at this age mostly babies takes feed while sleeping. let him reach 6 month then you can start solids and this will help to give your baby. good and healthy diet.
