My baby is 8 Months old, initially I was not able to get her enough of my milk due to less production but now I wish to give her only my feed along with some solid diet. Will it give similar health benefits to my baby which she would have benefited earlier? I am willing to buy an electric breast pump, will it be a good time to buy still? Because I am planning to feed her till she is atleast 1. 5 years. Looking for suggestions

Hi Vidushi Its great if you plan to feed her till 1. 5 years. Breastfeeding a child is always healthy and beneficial. And breastpumps will definitely help as those are more convenient. However, do remember as the child grows, the diet increases. Your child might need more milk. So if she gets hungry often , do supplement her diet with solids.

hi Vidushi Sharma ! u could relactate and breastfeed. breastfeeding even after a gap has positive impact on the baby. it will also strengthen the bond thay u share with your child. try and connect with him And this will stimulate milk production. try and feed directly first and keep trying for a few days . baby would latch and only if he doesn't then u could buy a breast pump
