insulin in pregnancy

hi all, I m in 9 months of pregnancy n dr suggested insulin as my sugar level is high between 130-125 after eating.. I m scared to take this injection.. Does sumone know tht we can control sugar with eating... please share ur experience 🙂

hi Khushboo . please take insulin as suggested by the doctor. high sugar levels during pregnancy can complicate delivery. since your sugar levels are high I don't think only diet can control it. please don't stop the medication on your own and take it as adviced.

hi Khusboo ! as Dr. Prerna has advised please follow yr doc's advise, gestational diabetes can't be controlled only with diet , u do need to take medication as prescribed by ur doc.. it must have been advised to avoid any complications.
