am 37 weeks pregnant.... my Hb level became low it is 9. 4... pls suggest me what to eat to increase my Hb level in this short term

hi Janakidevi suppuraj ! u could take a balanced nutritious diet and sources rich in iron, like beetroot, roasted chana, jaggery, green leafy vegetables etc.. but in moderate amounts. cut down on ur intake of caffeine as it reduces absorption of iron. instead increase yr intake of vit C rich foods which increase absorption of iron . here is a blog on advantage of beetroot during pregnancy. https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/benefits-of-eating-beetroot-during-pregnancy/3474?ptref=sa0l000030g02oi

Hi, in case you are taking iron supplements do take it with an orange juice or lemon juice since vit C increases the absorption of iron.... and please be careful that you are not taking the iron and calcium supplements together.... calcium decreases the iron absorption in the body so they shouldn't be taken together... rest you can take things with good sources of iron including spinach , banana , jaggery , beetroot ...
