Dear Preethi, please don't do anything without asking your doctor. Nausea and vomiting are inevitable part of pregnancy. Iron capsules are very much important. Moreover, your body may now become used to with nausea that's why we are feeling better. Your body now habituated with the newly running hormones making you feeling better. PLEASE INFORM YOUR DOCTOR THAT YOU HAVE STOPPED THE MEDICINE. AND ASK FURTHER GUIDANCE

Hi Preethi, pls don skip iron n cal supplement on regular basis as it's essential for healthy pregnancy. Instead take them separately, not together as they hinder in each other's absorption May b dats the cause of ur nausea. Take iron medicine after any meal with vitamin C like lemonade, orange juice or simply have a fruit. Vit C helps in better absorption of iron. N tk calcium with other meal. Try this hopefully you ll hv some relief bt if prob still remains Cnsltnt Dr to chng ur iron medicine. take care!

hi preethi. you can not skip iron n calcium tablets. I take dexorange syrup. I hate medicines. so my doc has advised me to take syrup instead of tablet.. having syrup is much easier n it tastes very good... ask your doctor about this syrup. I hope you feel better.
