Hi Rd, No that's not true I think, one of my friend had delivered at 35th week and baby is doing completely fine and meeting all the milestone. If your baby is active, taking feed properly and gaining weight every month then please do not worry. Every child is different and they grow at their own pace. Take care!

Hi Rd! please do not worry as said in below comment, if baby is gaining weight and active you should not be worried. Ensure that you exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months and try to continue for 1 year.

She is gaining but slowly. According to who chart she is gaining at low level. All her medical tests are clear. She takes feed again n again n sleeps only when I am on bed Vid her otherwise she wakes up n starts crying. is this normal?

Hi Rd, if she is gaining weight do not worry, some babies gain weight at low rate so just ensure to feed in every two years and keep a check on weight.

Rd ! That's absolutely normal! All is well that ends well .Take good care of yourself. Baby will catch up soon and reach the normal range .continue with exclusive breastfeeeding till yr baby is 6 months old. have a balanced and nutritious diet yourself and take ample rest. afrer 37 weeks it's not considered preterm,so get that thought out of ur mind.
