If pasteurised, toned, packaged cow milk by Amul, Sanchi, Mother Dairy etc are OK. But still.... For a baby this small..... Always go for formula milk. It'll provide all necessary nutrients with safety guaranteed. Just follow proper sterilisation.

Cows milk is not advisable for babies under 1 year of age as in researches it had been found that babies who were fed cow's milk before the age of 1, developed certain kinds of skin allergies and skin ailments later in life. Also, it is supposed to be difficult to digest by the immature intestines of the baby. However, some doctors still suggest giving a few ounces of cow's milk to babies who are not able to get enough milk from mothers feed. Nevertheless, you can introduce cow's milk once the baby is 6 months while preparing baby food like- oats, semolina with milk, porridge etc.

Cow's milk is not advisable till I yr old since it lacks all vital nutrients. Better to give expressed breast milk or formula milk.
