Hi All, I have a 24-day old baby and I am currently breastfeeding as well using breast pump to express the milk. My baby has difficulty in latching and sucking as I have flat nipples. However, using the breast pump has made it more easier. I need advice on how often can I express the milk using the pump? As of now, I am expressing it after feeding my baby. Is it ok to continue expressing it after the breast feed? Is there anything in particular that I should be aware of ? please help

Hi Jayashree I am a working mon so I starting pumping in the first month itself. I used to pump jin the morning because thats when i got the most milk. You can continue pumping after breastfeeding. Or maybe an house before nursing. Also, each mom and child are different. Its great to stick to whatever suits you and your baby the best :)
