Is repeating nursery a good option or not?

Hi everyone.... my son is August 2013 born... now I m in big trouble, as I have to take his admission in a good school. According to Maharashtra gov deadline for Jr. kg was 31july 2013 born kids... now der r some changes n d deadline is extended till September 2013. So now my son is eligible for jr. kg as well as nursery... But I am confused. Should I send him to jr. kg or make him repeat nursery.... as in jr. kg all d other kids might be elder to him ...so he might face competition in Future.. please help n give ur suggestions...

It is better is you choose to repeat nursery for your child. I had made my daughter repeat pre nursery as she is a Sept born child. If I had put her in nursery then, she would have been the youngest in her class. I had spoken to the principal, and she suggested I repeat pre nursery for her. She had advised me, that it's always better to have an older child in a class than a very young one. Also repeating at a very young age is much better than choosing to repeat later at an older age.
