i need to travel sometimes in auto. is it safe during pregnancy? are minor jerks harmful for the baby?

nope! Please try to avoid auto and bike during pregnancy. jerks from pot holes could be dangerous for both you and your baby. it's a strict "no" from gynaecologist as well, especially during the 1st and last trimesters. take care :)

for safe side don't travel in auto... jerks ll b harmful fr u.. it ll b risky.. y to take risks.. actually I traveled By auto nd bike.. BT road was good.. no traffic.. in paush areas I travelled by auto BT fr very small distances.. with my husband I travelled by bike near my house fr small distance only.. so avoid long travelling by auto nd bike.. fr small distance u r using auto thn strictly tell to autowala fr slow driving...

thanx... i m travelling only about 1. 5 km in auto. will try to avoid to maximum possible extent

See travelling by any mode will not be bad, but who will vouch whether drivers will drive taking your care and our roads we know better. So what @amrita and @haritima said is correct, avoid it. Jerks in any stage of pregnancy is not so good. If travelling still is unavoidable for any reason and you have to do daily than book some auto on monthly basis explaining your scenario to them. Hope this helps.
