Curd has natural enzymes and is known to strengthen the digestive system. So a Bowl or two of curd with salt and pepper would help in reducing discomfort.

Home made 'kaadha' of Ajwain, saunf, badi elaichi, pudhina, tulsi and ginger. Boiled in one glass of water till reduce to half. Drink with black salt and/or sugar for kids. This is sure shot way to set the stomach right in case of indigestion.

Heeng or asafoetida is a great stomach soother. When my children were small, i used to make a paste of heeng and water and rub it on their stomach. To an older child, you can give her some hing to drink down with water. safe and effective.

boiled ajwain water... a few sips are also effective for vomiting, gas, heaviness etc. I also squeeze lemon juice in this water sometimes for taste and to control acidity. always works.

ajwain roasted on a dry tawa; mixed with a bit of sendha namak. I give it to my child to down it with water. helps relieve gas and bloatedness.
