Itching since 9 mth of pregnancy

Hi all, I got this itching all over my body since i was 9 mths pregnant. My baby is 2 mths old now but still this itching doesn't seem to go. It feels like thousand needles pricking all over my body. Have taken 8 injections so far, medicines plus so many home remedies. Can somebody pls help or suggest something.

i m facing the same problem.... now baby is 8 months old but some areas still itch badly... moreover suffering from piles from last 9 months start from pregnancy.... coconut oil mix with camphor is helping me to get instant relief.

Hi Megha, I have tried caladryl lotion as well. But doesnt seemto help.

Hi all i am suffering frm the same problem from end of 7th month of my pregnancy and its almost a month my itching has gone to worse with red spots and rashes all over. I have gone through all the lft tests and it was normal. My doc has suggested me caladryl lotion which at last has worked for me. rest all home remedies and medicines have failed. it has not completely removed my itching however has given 80% relief... u should ones give it atry.... hope for best.. t. c

Hi, One of my friends had similar problem in her pregnancy. Check with your gynaec and doc might suggest a LFT (Liver Function Test) which is a blood test. It is curable with medication. Until then, keep trying home remedies to avoid irritation.

Hi Gayatri Thanks for ur advice. Hv tried neem water, neem paste, curd, coconut oil with camphor, aloe vera, cucumber gel, mustard oil but nothing works. It becomes very intolerable manytimes

I had faced the same problem but it disappears soon after delivery. U can use aloevera cream or use neem leaves in bath(boil the leaves in water for 10 min and mix that water in a bucket of normal water).
