I planned to spend more time on mehndi as it also plays an important role and helps to pass the fasting period.

that's great Puloma.. applying mehndi is a must on karwa chauth .I hate to wait in lines and do it myself at home . since I have company too (my lil angels) , this keeps us occupied. I also enjoy dressing up in a saree on Karwachauth. thats the only time in a year I wear a saree. I am sure u too would be having special plans regarding that.

Hi Payal, if you are able to fast then you can . But keep having water, fruits , tea etc to keep yourself hydrated as you have to feed your baby. But you can enjoy mehandi , puja. Take help of your husband or other family members to handle your baby. Pamper and decorate yourself. Its definitely going to be a great and memorable karwachauth for you.

hi Payal Kapil Joshi ! is yr baby on breastfeed? if yes , with the permission of ur elders u can keep a fast and have fruits only or whatever is permitted. without water and food the whole day can be lil taxing and is not good for ur health.

yes Shikha i had already arranged the saree and bangles matching. you are right this is the only day which completely belongs to us and we should spend time on decorating and dressing up ourselves.

we used to put mehndi on one night before. because of kids it is difficult to put mehndi at day time. this time karwa chauth is on Sunday so I can spend more time with my husband
