Hi Gagan, the only way to get rid from milk lump is to breast feed ur baby.. ur baby may not be drinking milk from ur left breast b'coz of slow or less supply of milk caused by lump.. but do not loose ur patience and try to feed ur baby from ur left breast maximum time.. another way for avoiding the development of more lumps try to express some or little milk time to time ..hope this will help.. happy motherhood...

Continue nursing Gagan. The knots means excess milk. So keep nursing and you will see the change in no time. If you feel your baby is not drinking enough, check if she is latching properly. Babies may take time to latch on after birth. Speak to your doctor for advice on this. Good luck and carry on nursing.

You can do one thing for knot. When you take bath, pour some warm water slowly slowly to your left breast. Do it 2-3 time during bath. And you can also use hair dryer for warmness as you use for hair dry to the left breast. Do it twice or thrice in a day. This will be surely useful for knot in your breast. And also it is helpful for excess of milk if you are suffering from less milk in your left breast. Hope this will be helpful to you. Best luck......

I faced similar problem when my baby was 1. 5 months old that time it reduced when my baby nursed from that breast. But again I had similar problem now when my baby is 3 months old and this time it didn't suffice with nursing so my gynac advised me to hot water fermentation I. e. dip a towel in hot water and keep it on the breast for some time and massage the breast with ur fingertips and express the milk. It helped this time however if the pain is too much or u get fever visit ur gynac she might prescribe u antibiotics and pain killers. But as far as possible try to avoid medicines. Hopefully this will helpful to you.
