hi Anusha . give banana mashed in milk , daal, powdered dryfruits. keep variation in food, dont repeat. Divert his mind while feeding. you can sing a song or recite dome rhymes, play rhymes or cartoons on TV. serve in different n attractive plates and glasses.

Hi Anusha. Thank you for the request. I would like to share few suggestions. First we need to know what kind of food he likes. Does the baby like spicy food or non spicy food. Crispy ones or soft ones? Just examine... it's a trial and error method. My child (2. 5 yr) likes some food now which used to hate when she was 1 year old. She hates the food which she loves at the age of 6-8 months. Feeding them is an art I have learnt from my mom and mom-in-law. Each child/ parent may be different from one another. Try telling them stories. Put their favourite toys in front of them and feed. To put on weight you may try blanched almonds (pounded), dry fruits powder (pista/ walnut/ cashews). Try cooked rice (mashed) with small amount of spice powders like pepper/ ajwain/ jeera mixed with buttermilk/ barley water/ rasam. Thank you.
