My son is 4 n half. He learns bad statements from people around, if I try to explain he says that they are his own. I try to keep him away but ... At the end of everything I feel alone.

In our family, sometimes elders speak certain things that a child shouldn't say. Not bad words. My brother in law has a son. Once he said to his mother to go n die b4 a car. N that is copied by my son. My nephew does not dare to say b4 ne one. But my son says it b4 ne body. What do I do

thanks for replying Diksha! probably child is saying this without even knowing what it means.. Diksha the more u would react to such statements , more he would make those to see your response. avoid giving any reaction and u would Rob him off the fun and he would forget in sometime. but if it's repeated again by your child or his cousin then u need to speak to them. u could make them sit together and tell them politely it's a bad thing to say and by saying such things they are hurting u and others ..and good children do not hurt others. hope this helps!
