Leucoderma treatment?

One of my friend's 2 year old has been diagnosed recently with Leukoderma, also known as Vitiligo. The doctor told them that there is no cure for this. Instead the little girl would need to be screened for various other conditions such as diabetes etc. We are all in the look out for any home remedy, recommendations for homeopathy or ayurveda, which you know has worked for anyone with this condition. Any suggestion will really help. Thank you!

Anurima, as far as i know the doctor is right. there is no treatment. my grandfather, father, and a cousin have it (btw its genetically controlled as well) and they all have tried every treatment but nothing really worked. i think rather than getting caught up with quacks, the child may need some sort of counselling to not lose confidence about her self image. But if i get to know something, i will surely tell you. all the best.

You should consult Unani (Hakeems) / Ayurveda doctors.... there are many topical agents that may be useful.... Vitiligo is treatable in most of the conditions.... untill unless the effected parts/area completely lost their sensory response & on pricking discharged pus...
