hi shabih fatema! he is definitely underweight. please add vegetables, fruits, dry fruits, egg, non veg, 2 cups of milk, curd, pulses, to his diet. avoid giving him tea.. in parantha , knead the dough with pureeed spinach in it, and add veggie such as paneer as stuffing.. sometimes knead dal in dough and make cheese or soyabean chunks or gobhi parantha with ghee. give pulses like chickpeas, rajma, lobiya etc..

weight 18 kg age 8 years in mrng 1cup tea in lunch 2 paratas without vegetable and in dinner 1roti sometime 1 cup milk
