Lubna Naaz, you could start maybe once a day on something easy to digest such as mashed bananas, stewed apple etc. but maybe you should check with your doc first

Lubna Naaz, depends on the weight and growth of the child. My daughter was underweight, and so we were adviced to start her on semi-solid foods at 4 months itself. But if your child is ok weight, then you can start on things like thin daal, vegetable soup, rice cerelac, mashed boiled aloo, but 2 meals a day because I think a child so small still needs mothers feed more than anything.

Dear Lubna, try introducing one solid at a time to rule out any intolerance or allergies. Try with mashed bananas, then pureed apples and sweet potatoes. They are usually easy to digest and tasty too. Keep calm and things will fall into place gradually. Good luck.
