Mosquito bites

Hi my baby is 1 year 9 months old n is bitten by mosquitoes badly. we use coil for mosquitoes n it is effective but it's harmful for my baby due to the smoke it emmites. kindly suggest any remedy so that I can get rid of the mosquitoes in our home. there is all measures of hygiene done at our end

Hi Apeksha! Yes u r absolutely right smoke emitted by mosquito repellants/coils is not safe for kids and can cause serious breathing problems and other illnesses. You could try some of the following home remedies which are safer: A. Neem oil burnt in a diya with wick. B. lemon grass scented candles C. Lemon grass essential oils D. Mosquito nets E. Odomos to be applied behind ears and sole of feet once baby is in the bed so that child/ baby doesn't ingest it. Hope this would help!
