movement of the baby

does the baby's movements will become low or high before labour starts?? for past two days I didn't feel more movements of my baby... but from yesterday aftn itself I could feel baby's movements become very more and sometimes it hurts....

hi Janakidevi suppuraj , in later stages of pregnancy the baby settles down for the labour and due to this fixing of the head of the baby the movement of the baby in the womb becomes difficult so you tend to feel less movements... bt that's normal but if you don't feel the movements at all then that could be a concern.... so in that case you can consult a doc...
