Multi vitamin and D3 drops

Hi All, I have 9 months old baby. Have given continously the multivitamin Vi-syneral And ultra d 3 drops for 7 months.. is it really necessary to give the above since it is made up of chemical even though it is medicine. we can supplement D3 by showing the baby in sunlight and we can introduce more healthy drinks and powder to ensure baby getting enough vitamins. whether anyone not providing the above to baby or is it really necessary to give them?

Hi Vidhya, you are absolutely right, i agree with your point. i have not given this to my baby. only i have given multivitamins that too just for one month as prescribed at hospital.

Dear Vidhya, l also gave vitamin D drops to my child just for 1 month only as advised by my baby's pediatrician.

thx debashree and puloma.. Doctors nowadays advising to take the above drops to all babies till one year.. Anyways, have stopped giving that and focussed on sunlight and to provide healthy foods..
