Hi anu please try and set a routine for your child. Please ensure child is not sleeping after 5 pm and does age appropriate physical activity so that he feels tired and sleeps by 9 pm. you can serve dinner by 7 pm. Also Please Make sure he is not watching gadgets and screen time is almost zero at this age.

anu If your toddler naps hard in the middle of the day and you're hoping to shift some of that daytime sleep to the evening, start by shortening the afternoon nap by 15 minutes. (This'll help your toddler be a bit more tired at night. ) If that goes well, trim another 15 off and slide bedtime 15 minutes earlier.

These days this problem has become common in every child. One reason for this is the growth of children. Children's growth affects their sleep patern. Another reason for this can also be that the child is hungry or has body pain, headache, pain in the stomach... because of all these, the child is not able to sleep. Children of 2 to 3 years should take 12 to 13 hour of sleep in a day. That's why you have to talk to your baby if baby has any problem in the body due to which he is unable to sleep.
