my 2 yrs baby sometimes respond to her name and sometime not. she speaks A to Z, 1 to 10 in hindi english both, identify almost 50 to 60 objects, when it rains outside she says rain rain go away rhymes and in hindi as well. whenever she see cake and birthday party theme she sing happy birthday song, she chant half gayatri mantra also, recognize every shapes like star, rectangle, square, heart, diamond, identify 5 to 6 colour also, but sont say mamma, papa to us but when she see our images in phone then she say papa, mumma, she doesn't make demands like khana do, pani, potty susu . But sometimes she took our phone and say sentence like hello aaeye.. , whenever we hold her tightly she say chhor... . mein hamesha usse bolne bolti hu mamma khana, mumma pani but wah repeat nahi karti do word k sentence but kisi object ke baare m batati hu to wah copy karti hai. I just want to know at this stage she is not communicating with us .. is it a matter of concern??

Not at all a matter of concern Sneha raj ! If she is able to say rhymes, alphabets, numbers and words, she will gradually start to respond as well.

Do not confuse yourself by seeing all these videos. My son started talking only at the age of 3 years. Till then he used to say only 5-10 words. Even I was worried like you, but one fine I was surprised seeing him talking in a sentence. The more you speak and play with your child, the faster would be their learning to speak. Reduce your baby's screen time. Read lot of books to your child. Encourage her to speak, clap hands and praise her. This reinforcement will enable her to speak. Sneha raj .
