Hi Aradhana Singh Its becoming every child's story. My son also used to do so. Only milk could satisfy his hunger nothing else. But then my pediac advised me to reduce his intake of milk. As soon as i reduced the milk intake he stared eating. Before he could ask for milk i started giving him his favorite things and key to that was i never forced him to eat. if he refused to eat then i used to eat that myself showing him that it was yummy and he missed that. we took him in some good restaurants where only eating was the option and he used to see everybody eating there. Thats how he developed habit of eating. You can also try just make sure you don't force your angel to eat.

Hi Aradhana, It is difficult sometimes to make child eat solids rather than milk. The most suitable time to give solids is, when the child is most hungry. Give a variety of foods ranging from fruits, porridges, staples (rice, chapatti, idli)vegetables and especially the child's favourite ones. limit the milk intake to a maximum of 500 ml in a day. Giving too muchof milk not only interferes with child's appetite but also makes them anaemic. You may even try making the child having meals with family in a separate plate/bowl. Give positive reinforcement to whatever he is eating. Do this daily and especially when the child is hungry.
