He utters only Few words. He recites rhymes, but not clear. Knows A to Z and numbers 1-20. But for this I have to first start and then he continues. He is 3 yes old now. What is the remedy?

hi neha ! talk a lot with yr child. keep him away from gadgets . show him picture books, read out bedtime stories to him.. the more u will talk with him and not give in to gestures, the sooner he will talk. speak with him in short clear sentences .. let him play with agemates..

I met a doctor recently. He told my toddler may have some autism related issues. But autism's symptoms are not there in my child. Only problem is he doesn't speak clear. He speaks much but not clear. though, he makes eye contacts. Plays with children, takes me to the garden, but not speaks for taking him there. He never flapped his hands.. never stimmed. He is very naughty.

Neha I do understand yr concerns. u could motivate him to speak by rewarding him with a smiley sticker or a star when he expresses himself through speaking and not gestures. also make sure he speaks in clear sentences..
