First thing is to follow the growth chart. If ur child is around normal then it's ok otherwise consult pediatrician. I think for speech she is fine. One n half yr old baby can speak words only. Playing with other children increase her vocabulary. As far as walking is concerned her legs must bear body weight. Massage is helpful. Other thing is fear. Children are protective for their selves. Give her ur fingers as support. Gradually remove that support. Don't try continuously. See the mood of a child. Hope it will help you.

I agree with Ghazala, encourage your baby. leave her on the floor and move aside..... keep her favourite toy far from her and ask her to fetch it. within few days she will start walking independently. it's her fear of falling which is stopping her to walk without support.

stop using walker... encourage her to stand on her own.. try hard... encourage her as much as you can to walk.. she will definitely walk n first thing is that u should stop using walker... it is a very useless thing. it hinders thigh muscles development. and consult a doctor if you feel like.

Hey don't be worried. my daughter also was doing same till 1 yr. I'm from Chennai, so I'm unable to send my kid outside. In walker she will run like anything but when we take her out from walker she will sit down immediately. I decided and sent my daughter with my mom to my village. within a week she started to walk and started to talk more words. so leave your kid with more kids to play and communicate.
