there is nt a major problem in tht... give him/her sum more tym.. 6 months more try and indulge in outdoor activities like playing wid children of ur colony.... download sum rhymes and show him/her it wil surely help.. I myself has experienced this.. mine is 2 and 4 months old.. til january she was nt even calling us mama papa.. bt nw there I lot of improvement... within 3 months spend more tym wid ur child.. n tell her to imitate u..

I agree with v Sharma .. my son will be 2neft month , and his age kids are talking here .. I was too worried .. even now he doesn't call mamma or daddy .. the thing is he doesn't still know the concept of mother and father .. I've been putting him educational vedios , and rhymes ., he knows all .. sometimes he will keep talking to self .. sometimes if the words are catchy or if the sentence is interesting he will say .. you can also try putting in daycare for 1or2hours or in play school .. it really helps them build confidence .. I see a lot of improvements in him now since he started going .. even though he is still not talking , I know that he will in few months .. you needn't worry till 3years .. after which you start asking your doctor .. ..
