my son always want me to sit beside him or sit on my lap..... it's irritating me when I have work to do and I lose my control , started to shout him.... at last I felt very guilty.... I don't know how to tackle with him... suggest me first how to teach him to play

Hi hilda, your problem is so like mine. This is more because of their tender age when they seek safety being with mother. All we need is more of patience. Try to involve kid in your domestic work like arranging toys or kitchen stuff. Pretend stories telling his fav cartoon character does all the things independently, or he will grow big if sits on chair. Pretend toys like dr. sets or kitchen sets are very engaging for both boys and girls. Even tell him mumma is tired , help her playing your toys may work emotionally. This worked with my 2yr old. Hope it works for you too.

Cheena explained it very well, apart from this try engaging the kid more and more in difft activity once they get involved in various things/games their attention will be deviated to other things and they wont seek ur presence the whole day. Be sure of one thing what ever game/toys/puzzle/kitchen sets you buy to engage them they are very colour full as the colours will attract them. One more thing can you plz tell the age ?
