My child don't want to brush !

I have a 18 month old child and the doctor's advised me to start her on brushing. I tried, but she hates it. She doesn't want to brush at all. Tried finger brush also. Please help. Also there are so many toothpastes in the market. which is safe for such small children

Swati.. yes I agree to be safe and more clear on the issue medically, please contact an expert. But would like to share my personal experiene and tips with you. Nowadays so many toothpastes are available in the market from trusted brands which have kids favourite cartoon pics made on them. And even toothbrush which have again cartoon pics. So, u can try having your child's favourite picked up by him/her. The child will feel happy and involved in the whole process. And u can also put some fun element by showing nursery rhymes where they are talking about brushing.... such as Brush brush brush your teeth brush them everyday and join him by showing how to do it.
