My child is underweight ...please help

Hello, I am newbie here... Just need your suggestions to improve my child's health. My child suffering from throat infection most often and due to which he doesn't eat well and that in turns has losen his weight to extreme level... its a matter to worry.. Need expert comments from you . How should I cure him from the roots for his throat problem... My son is 2. 9 years old and goes to nursery.

Hi Gargi, I can understand what you are going through, I was in the same position sometime back, now my daughter is 3 and doing better. About the throat infection often, i started giving her Himalaya Septilin syrup for 3 months and it worked wonders for me. Please talk to your pediatrician and try it.

Hi Megha thanks for it.. But my pediatrician already gave three syrups for this cough and bad throat and its creating mess while giving him these syrups ...even he is also not liking taking syrups for 4 times a day... but I will try this Himalaya syrup u said ...

Even that was the problem with my son, and now I found out that he has tonsils. Anyways, about being underweight, if he is an active child, u should not worry. Being underweight is better than being obese. I give parle g biscuits mixed in little warm milk, when the throat is bad. My son loves it's taste, and does not puke because of bad throat, and it can be easily digested. Also, try giving him food in small quantities, when he is having pain in throat. Don't force.

Yes my child is active and me too give him Parle G with warm milk... lets see how it goes...

Try adding Bengal gram powder roasted to his foods
