My child's approach

My child is healthy and smart, but usually shy in social gathering. Since last week he refuses to play with a particular friend because that boy's nanny said that he is a bad boy since he does not dance. it hurt him so much that he does not forget and never wants to play with him. it is no fault of that child. how can I get my son be friends again with his friend?

hi Sabari Paul! I understand your concerns . he seems to be a sensitive child. the only way to do away with any confusion is talk it to out directly with the person in question. you could invite him home and let them clarify to each other amicably . also u need to work on his self confidence. praise your son, motivate him, avoid comparing him with others, focus on his strengths, through these work on his not so strong points . as per his interest let him join hobby classes such as drama, sports or dance or drawing. hope this helps!
