Do not react what we say or ask her. Always react on any poem song alphabet etc she knows very well. 03. Always blabbering poem numbers shapes aphabets nouns etc. 04. Do not react on her name many times. She reacts one in a while like 1 out of 10 times. 05. she is not fond of food. Whenever she feels hungry she wants to be breastfeed. But she can identify upto 50 objects , sing poems in both the languages, whenever she see cake or attend bday party she used to sing happy bday song. whenever we say new word of any object she repeats it. Is there any problem?

Hello Rohit ! As you are saying that your baby is singing poems and also enjoy parties and all then it's fine but I would suggest you to consult with paediatrican once on phone or ask your question in doctor's section as they will guide your the best and give you the best advice as you have said like she doesn't react when you call her name that's little bit unusual in 26 months. Take care of her and play with her give your time to her.

Hi Rohit! I would suggest you to reduce her screen time. Spend lot of time with her. Giving directions when your child isn’t focused on you could set both of you up for failure. It can be hard for kids to hear and follow directions while they’re playing or when the TV is on in the background. Minimize any distractions before giving directions. Give directions one at a time, when possible.

Rohit is she making an eye contact? Does she smile back ? Is she doing any movement of hands or legs repeatedly? Can she express herself? if she wants something , how does she convey it to you? Is she watching gadgets? If yes, how much time is she spending on it? Is she toilet trained ? Please answer these questions as your response would help in better understanding of the behaviour of the child .

Thanks for replying Rohit ! What I notice from your description is receptive Lang is there but there is a delay in expressive language. So in other words, child's understanding is there but can't express herself through words . There is a delay in speech development. Please consult a speech therapist as earlier the intervention the better are the results. Also please gradually wean her off the screen. Talk a lot with her. Read age appropriate books with illustrations and also try to repeat names of day to day objects.
