My kid shows tantrums and Anger

My son has turned 10 months old, day by day he is getting stubborn. If we use NO word for anything for him.. he gets angry, start throwing objects, start shouting,Roll down on floor and many a time he hits us too. He is too small to understand things. We try to calm him down with various methods.. love, affection, fake anger. But nothing works. Anybody faced similar issue, please advice what should I do to bring change in his behavior.
