My kids not having vegetables and fruits

My elder one stopped eating fruits and veggies at her 1st bdy. My lil also doing like that only. I tried several tricks to feed but failed:(. Please suggest me, how they eat themselves both veggies and fruits. Thank you

Yeah valarmathi... my daughter is 4 n half now n she don't eat at all.... even juices also she don't like.... her weight n height is correct ....she don't even taste any thing new....

Yes Sindhura, you can try for 4 year old too. But check on taste. Also, 4 year old may not like smashed food.. may be like pulav. My 5 year old twin kids had the mixed veg dhall rice till 4 and 1/2years. Now as 5 years old, they look for different taste and variety.

Hi sindura.. my elder also 4yrs old. That's why am worrying. If my DD not allow those foods,its very difficult to mould again

Thank you I tried juices and fruits. But no result :(. Even I tried with small gifts. Hmmm.. any other suggestions plz :)

Hi Gayathri! If not directly, you can give them indirectly as I managed. You can grate veggies like carrot, radish, potato including beans, cabbage, tomato etc. Add this veg mix with thoor dhal / green dhal and rice with pepper, salt, turmeric etc and cook in pressure cooker with little extra water. After cooking, mix or smash a little so that veggies blend with rice completely. You can feed the child with ghee as per taste. You can take one part of veggies and one part of rice with little dhal as per taste on trial and error. I also used chopped greens instead of veggies. Even if the child refuses in the beginning, slowly they will start eating. Later you can try veggies separately. Fruits... start as early as possible.. If your elder started going to school, send in snacks box, even if they dont eat. Keep sending.. Kids will start on their own slowly. Also, you can try fruit juice at home.
