Hi Hilda, ask your baby's teacher to make him participate with other kids, motivate him to play with other children . Take him out to the parks, neighbours house and let let him play with kids dont interrupt, let him soil his clothes or whaterever he wants to do. He will start playing with other childrens. Praise on his little achievements and encourage to do better, sometimes gift him if participates in activities.

Making a child "social" is the easiest task. Let your child say Hi! Hello! Tata, Bye, Namaste, Salam to anyone (strangers) near him/her. You insist him/her on saying this words. Let them shake hands with others, hifive and other such gesture of greetings. Interestingly if the child waves hands or greet a stranger, he/she will always get a good response (Magic of childhood). So such steps will help building confidence in him/her. At the same time avoid strangers who tries getting too close by giving some excuses. Parks and other places of gathering like, malls, food stalls, family get together, picnic with neighbors are some good ways to make a child social. These steps should make your child ready to mingle with other children in school.
