My son doesn't show interest in studies. He is about 4 yrs. How to tackle this situation. He does his home work if his friend is with him otherwise he doesn't..

hi Vikas Bharti ! since u have got to know he needs motivation , u could give him a smiley or a star or a reward on persistent good performance.. also praise him and hug him.

Encouraging will boosts his confidence. Praise him for very small things even no need. If it is a written work tell him at this age my writing was not good like yours even nobody can read my letters etc. , if it is oral tell him your memo is very good and so on..

Even I faced the same kind of situation with my son. I started giving him chocolates when he finishes his homework which worked. Slowly I moved out from chocolates therapy to rhymes on the condition that he can watch his fav rhymes only after his homework. Also in order to create his or her own interest on the studies we need to praise every small job of them. I encouraged him shout ooòooo (What we did during our clg days) at the end of the home work which really boosted confidence and interest in him. In case of ur kid apply the therapy of his interest to create interest in his studies. All the best.
