My son is 7. 3years old he is happy to eat vegetables happily. He weight is only 18. 850gm .I don't know what I do for him. He is active but too Slim.

hi Sunayana! I do comprehend your concern. his weight is on the lower side for his age. u could add whole milk, buttermilk, milk shakes, seasonal fruits and vegetables, pulses, butter, tofu, paneer, Ragi, non-veg, eggs, fish, curd to his diet. serve him a balanced nutritious diet with items from all fruits groups. please go through the link given below. hope u will find the suggested tips handy. my daughter is almost 9 years old... she weighs 18 kgs. i advice you not to worry... so long as your child is active n alert, no need to worry

Sunayana u could finely chop vegetables and add to pasta, pizza, upma, vermicelli, idli, uttapam , pulao etc. or u could boil veggies and add to Dalia, mashed veggies to paranthas. also try making palak roti by kneading pureed palak in flour, or left over Dal in flour . add paneer to paranthas, or grated carrot, gobhi . hope this would work.
